absolute best place to go out and enjoy great wings in a fantastic
atmosphere. The wings are delicious and the beer is amazing." California, here I come.

Medium sized, Buffalo style wings with a good burn your lips
sauce and great bleu cheese. They serve it with a selection of
imported beers. Darin says,"Heat of flavor ranges: Mild, Medium, Hot,
Hot & Sour, Inferno, Nuclear, Insane, and Super Insane. There also
two more Granite's shops in the Sacramento area." Spread the word Darin.
We need more good wings out west. The wings fans are there just
waiting to find the good stuff.
Gulliver from Oregon sheds some light on Granite's.
"I see my buddy Darin sent you a review of the Carmichael Granite's.
This is the same chain as the Sacramento Granite's. There are 3
altogether: one on Auburn & Manzanita, one on Auburn & I-80, and one on
Marconi & Fair Oaks Blvd. All three are pretty much the same, but the
first and biggest is the one on Marconi & Fair Oaks. I thought could
clear up some confusion." Thanks again, Gulliver.

flavorful. So far, this is my yardstick in the
West LA area." Cool.

Meaty, burn your lips, buffalo wings.Good bleu cheese and it's a
brewery. Fantastic! Mrs. Dennis says,"These are the tastiest wings
you will ever come across. My husband and I are hooked. They are
very hot...and oh so VERY flavorful, I don't know how they do it! A
side of wings accompanied by an icy cold pitcher of Eel Rivers' very
own...Ravensbrau porter...(and this is great porter)...it's a great
way to unwind and enjoy. The atmosphere is wonderful...the people
are freindly and happy. The brewery itself is open and airy. Windows
look out to a wonderful garden area with water fountain, shade trees
and horseshoe pits. Freinds, couples, families...all feel welcomed."

These meaty, Buffalo style wings will make you break a sweat.
They have an excellent bleu cheese and lots of imports to drink. Landon tells
us this story, "I could never figure it out...what was the big deal
about some soggy poultry soaked in hot sauce. Everyone was telling me
that I had to try the wings at a local sports bar. I chose the spicy
variety, and call me blasphemous, but I don't do bleu cheese, asked
for the house ranch instead. The waitress brought them shortly after.
I looked at these and thought, "Hmmm..look different, kinda golden
under that gnarly dark red...." I picked one up, wishing I had not
worn a white shirt. I took a bite....
"I UNDERSTAND! THIS is what they mean by BUFFALO WINGS!!!"
The thoughts of stain removal flew right outta my head! I dunked
another into the Ranch and sampled it that way, then I wished I was
not out in public...just me in my house alone with two dozen of those
bad boys! >grin< The staff is friendly, the place is clean- you can
see the cooks at work (except when they do the wings-those
mysteriously appear from somewhere in the back...)the owners are
super nice. They have all the stuff a great sports bar should have
and then some. The menu is almost as great to look at as the food
that's on it tastes. The burgers are to die for, a million different
ways, a huge beer selection including microbrews and drafts, and they
serve awesome Margaritas. They make a killer drink and keep a well
stocked bar. Am I still here? See you guys- I'm starved!" Another
wings fan finds the way.
Los Angeles
Big Red Wings

(310)-478-9464
These medium sized, Buffalo style wings will make you sweat.
They have good bleu cheese and several domestic beers. Becky says,"
YUM! This place is a little hole-in-the-wall but it is sooooo good.
In my search for wings all over the West Coast, Big Red Wings is
hands down my favorite place. It stays open till about 1 am, they
deliver, and they have the most amazing weekend All You Can Eat
special. It's around $10 or so for all you can eat wings, cheese
sticks, fried mushrooms and zucchini, potato skins, etc,--heart
attack on a plate! They have three different kinds of sauce, mild,
hot and suicide. The mild alone makes my nose run away from me.
But trust me, it's well worth it!"

In the city of Sacramento there is only ONE place for good wings, and that
is Granite's. There are two locations, the one on Marconi is the
bigger one. They are hole in the wall dives, but man can they make
wings!!! Also they have good subs and stuff. Temp ranges from mild
to nuclear." Sounds like Granite's wings rock. Heh Heh!
I couldn't resist.
