These medium sized, Buffalo wings will make you sweat.
They have great bleu cheese and lots of imported beers.
lightleather says, "Abner's Yard is my favorite bar in
Wrigleyville(right by Wrigley field) so talking ill of the
establishment is hard to do. In my opinion the wings actually have a
good flavor however I like the sauce to be thicker and have some
actual texture to it. The BBQ wings are great however probably due to
the sauce being very thick. Like my gramps always said if the sauce
your using doesn't stick to what your eating how is it going to stick
to your ribs and make ya strong!"

These medium sized, lightly breaded wings come with a good burn your
lips sauce. They have good bleu cheese and lots of imported beers.
Russ says,"BW3 is a chain and they have an awesome selection of
wings-blazing is the hottest. Sometimes they're not as meaty as I
would like, but you just have to get more. This is one of the
prefered wings joints in chicago-great beers, buffalo chips w/ cheese,
and of course the wings." I'm familiar with BW-3's. I'd put the
blazing sauce in the insane category but, they have lots of choices
and they are good.
Charlie's Ale House Navy Pier
700 E Grand Ave # 118.
(312)-595-1440
These wings are meaty, spicy and lightly breaded. They have good bleu
cheese and lots of imported beers. Brant says,"Quite a find! I
expected to find mediocre wings as your apt to find at a "normal"
restaurant, but these stepped up to the pate and hit a dinger! Comes
with your choice of mild, medium, hot, or BBQ sauce - the hot is just
about right, not very hot but enough to get your attention. You can
get a single or double order, and you actually get a decent amount of
wings for the money - no 6 wings for $5.95 like those found at a chain
restaurant. Enjoy a cold beer - the house ale (Charlie' Ale, go figure!
) isn't bad, but I recommend a Bell's Amber! (if they have it in stock)
Bottom line - definitely worth a stop for an afternoon snack if you
are cruising around Navy Pier (especially if you have been sitting in
the beer garden for a few hours!)." Brant has suffered through some bad
wings to find us this good spot. Thanks Brant!

Bonnie says,"These are some of the best wings that I've ever had.
They have a nice texture about them, I think that they're just
lightly fried. It also has a nice heat to them, they won't give you
heartburn. The bleu cheese dressing is O.k. I guess, I really dont
care for bleu cheese myself. Great selection of beer, domestics,
imports and micro-brews. One final note, after eating the
best hot wings may I suggest the best ever white chocolate cheese cake."
Yak-Zies Bar-Grill

Tasty, burn your lips sauce with these medium sized, Buffalo style
wings. A great bleu cheese and domestic beers. Darryl says,"They pride
themselves on making the best chicken wings out-side of Buffalo's
Anchor Bar, using the same recipe. Rated as one of the best places for
buffalo wings by Pat Bruno Food critic of the Chicago Sun-Times."
Let's see, stop by the Fields museum, check out the lions from the
movie "Ghost and the Darkness", then devour some wings . Sorry, I was
just thinking out loud. Road Trip!
Downers Grove

Burn your lips with these medium sized, Buffalo style wings. A great
bleu cheese and several imported beers. JBor says,"There are about
5 Bud's locations throughout the Chicago Suburban area. I have never had
wings better than this in my life. The bleu cheese dressing is worth eating by
itself. In addition, the flavor comes in 3 levels, regular, nuclear,
and rusty. Even while you sit there and sweat, you can't stop eating just
one more. My friends and I always ask for the wings well done... to add a
crispier dimension." Rusty sauce? You just described my kind of wings session.
Sweatin' and can't stop. Kick up the endorpins and savor the flavor!
